Ashley and I wanted to give her close friends something special for Valentines Day, so we started thinking about what we could make. I came across these cute covered matchboxes at Nikycolesshop on etsy and decided we'd buy a gift instead.
When they arrived I was giddy. They were covered in ribbons, and glittered buttons and felt hearts. Now we have to figure out what to put in them.
Veronica at Nikycole doesn't just have an awesome store on etsy, she also has an awesome blog called Life in the Thrifty Lane. Check her out and let her know I sent you~
PS- I'm keeping one of those little boxes for myself
I've always been a huge picture person. Every trip or event I take 30-200 pictures. My closet is full of photo boxes, memory books and tubs of my children's drawings and awards. I have scrap books for both my children; one is a baby book and one is an elementary book. As I get busier and they get busier it's harder and harder to take the time to actually "scrapbook". The digital camera doesn't help either since I just download my pictures and don't physically see them, but I feel they are forgotten. (Back in the day- I would get my film developed and ALWAYS get double prints.)
I was searching around and found Becky Higgins-Project Life. It's a genius idea and a mother's ticket to scrapbooking. I placed my order immediately.
I didn't realize how popular Elmo was until I had a request a few weeks ago to make a personalized Elmo Onesie and Matching Tutu Set. Wow, the response was overwhelming when I added it to my etsy shop. What other character is popular now for the 3 and under group?? Dora is next on my list; I love her backpack~
Over the holidays we bought Ashley a trampoline. My older daughter Amanda has wanted one for years and I finally crumbled with Ashley. I love finding her outside laying on it and just thinking.....or in this case- doing homework with the animals.
