New Blog Design

I finally hired a professional to redesign my blog; Designer Blogs. I like the layout and the navigation tabs at the top of the page. (not that I know how to use them). Now I just need to learn HTML so I'm not a social outcast while trying to express my thoughts. I really like the Recipes tab since I cook at least 5 times a week and am always trying new recipes. Im excited to share recipes I'm trying or just adding my extra twist on.

Red/White and Blue Trifle

I decided to make something healthy for the 4th of July and one recipe on my bucket list was this red/white and blue trifle. I love to use my trifle bowl. It makes such a pretty presentation and so easy. This recipe is from skinnytaste which is my new favorite website since I'm a foodie. It even has Weight Watchers point calculations. Awesome. I highly recommend making this recipe on your next bunco night, BBQ or potluck. Easy Easy and Yummy Yummy!

Dance Recital Show

My daughter was in a dance recital on Saturday tapping her little heart away to the Jonas Brothers version of Yo ho ho ho..... I set up my tutu booth for 2 of the 3 recitals that day. I met some great people and passed out alot of cards. Funny thing; I sold more tutus while breaking down in 10 minutes than I did the 3 hours I was there. I enjoyed the event but I think I would rather be a parent on my daughters day instead of a business woman..... (even though she had fun in her costume helping me man the booth when she was done).

New Obsession with Wool Felt Roses

I tried my hand at making wool felt roses for bobby pins and absolutely love them. All ages can wear them. Here is a pic of my niece in hers :)

Craft Room Organization

I convinced my husband to turn our retreat in to my craft room. It has been a nursery, an office and a media room; but now its MY craft room. I thought I would share the first stage of MY ROOM...... Is this called a Woman Cave??

March 20th Craft Show

With over 20 vendors at the Craft Show on a very windy and cold day- we all actually did pretty well. I ended up selling majority of my tutus and cleared an entire bow board. My customers showed up to support me; Thank you. I wanted to share a few pics with you*
