Craft Show Success

Last weekend was The Polkadot Owl Market and it was a success!  Veronica and I have been working on this Market for a few months and all of our work paid off. 

 We ended up with 18 vendors, around 80+ people stopped by to shop and visit and everyone wanted to know if we could do this every weekend.  umm, Not!  {but I did think about how we can do it more often}

I do- You probably already know {if you've been following me} that it's my Dating Anniversary with my husband.  Yes, 16 years ago today we went on our first official date.  We look forward to celebrating every 4 years.  Tonight we are sneaking away during volleyball practice to go have sushi- Yay, for 2 hour practices!  {No babysitter fees, you mom's know what I'm talkin' about}

Photo Shoot

I decided to hire a professional photographer to take some pictures of my products. I gathered a few VIP tutu wearers and my kids and niece. We headed out to the RedRock Area just outside of Las Vegas. Yes, Im in Las Vegas. Yes, Its July. Yes, it was HOT! Hey, anything for a tutu, right? My photographer is still editing the pictures but I thought I would share a teaser of my older daughter wearing on of my Fluffbands.

Dance Recital Show

My daughter was in a dance recital on Saturday tapping her little heart away to the Jonas Brothers version of Yo ho ho ho..... I set up my tutu booth for 2 of the 3 recitals that day. I met some great people and passed out alot of cards. Funny thing; I sold more tutus while breaking down in 10 minutes than I did the 3 hours I was there. I enjoyed the event but I think I would rather be a parent on my daughters day instead of a business woman..... (even though she had fun in her costume helping me man the booth when she was done).

New Obsession with Wool Felt Roses

I tried my hand at making wool felt roses for bobby pins and absolutely love them. All ages can wear them. Here is a pic of my niece in hers :)
